  Ayutthaya was the former capital of Thailand from 1350 until its destruction in 1767. During the height of its power, it rank as the largest, most magnificent city in the Orient, as witnessed in the extensive ruins of numerous temples and palaces that today preserved in what is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
 
     
 
 
     
 
WAT YAI CHAI MONGKOL
 
 
Wat Yai Chaimongkol is famed for an impressively large statue of the Reclining Buddha inside the temple compound built in 1357.
 
     
 
The large Pagoda that dominates the skyline was built in 1592 to celebrate King Naresuan’s single-hand the Burmese Crown Prince after the elephant back duel.
 
     
   
     
 
WAT PHRA SI SANPHET
 
 
Wat Phra Si Sanphet a part of the original palace grounds, next door stands the three famous Sri Lankan style pagodas. Two of the pagodas were built in 1492 while the third was added in 1540.
 
     
   
     
 
WIHARN PHRA MONGKHON BOPHIT
 
 
For two centuries after Ayutthaya’s fall, a huge bronze Buddha sat exposed to the elements near Wat Phra Sri Sanphet.
 
     
 
Based on the original building , a new Wiharn Phra Mongkhon Bophit was built in 1956 around the restored statue. Dating to the 15th century and over 12-metres tall. It is one of Thailand’s largest bronze images and is highly revered by local pilgrims.
 
     
   
     
 
WAT CHAI WATTHANARAM
 
 
The temple is popular for snap-happy tourists, especially towards sundown. The building is standing tall on a pedestal in front of the chapel, a Buddha keep watch the domain.

  DAMNERN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET & ROSE GARDEN (CODE:BKKF 01)  
  Damnern Saduak, about 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok. Visit Salt fields and coconut farm on the way, The market its best in the early morning before the crowds arrive and the heat of the day builds up.  
     
  Rose Garden Cultural: A cultural village show starts every afternoon with Thai folk dancing and demonstrations of handicraft skills, Thai boxing and sword fighting. There are also performances on certain Thai rituals, traditional ceremonies, and an outstanding elephant show.
