Traimit Located in Bangkok’s China Town,
The Golden Buddha Image is three meters high and
weighing five and a half tons. It was covered in
stucco to protect it from invading Burmese in the
eighteen century. When it slipped while being moved
by crane the stucco cracked, revealing the gold
underneath. |
