  Visit Chinese Temple: Wat Tham Sua the splendid temple is located in a cave which is only assessable via steps flanked by dragon carvings on both sides.  
     
  Wat Thammungkornthong is well known for the incredible performance of a nun floating on the surface of a deep pool. A small museum displaying a variety of ancient objects found in the area is located nearby.
 
     
 
 
     
  Bridge over the River Kwai: The 'Death Railway' is that a far greater number of lives were lost along those of the p.o.w.'s in the desperate railway construction. Nearly 50,000 laborers perished on the railway construction, with not even a grave marker to show up for them.  
     
 
 
     
  Jeath Museum: Acronym for Japan, England, Australia/America, Thailand and Holland. The museum inside has been constructed largely in the form of an allied prisoner of war camp. The thatched detention hut with cramped, elevated bamboo bunks contains photographic, pictorial and physical memorabilia dating from the Second World War.  
     
  The War Cemetery Here lie the graves of 6,982 American, British, Australian and Dutch prisoners of war, who died by the side of the Death Railway. The cemetery is always immaculately beautifully landscaped lawn.
